Reform Austin went inside a well-known strip club in Houston to find out what dancers think about the drive-thru fantasy at the feet of a deadly disease. The cop at the door did not ask us for our temperature or to wear masks, and there was no hand sanitizer, like most businesses have. Upon walking in, the person at the check-in counter was the only person wearing a mask while dancers and patrons were mask-free. Her eyes would look up at the door anytime someone walked in, and so did the rest of the club. There were groups of four or more sitting at tables throwing money at a select few dancers while others waited attentively on chairs.

Houston Is Now Home to a Drive-Thru Strip Club
By Melkorka Licea. July 22, am Updated July 22, pm. A Texas jiggle joint has found a creative way to attract customers while still letting their ladies strut their stuff during the COVID outbreak: A drive-thru strip club. Dancers dressed in thongs, thigh-highs and masks show off their moves from behind several black barricades separating them from the cars.
Vivid Gentleman's Club at Winrock Blvd has become Texas' first drive-thru strip club amid the pandemic, which has forced many similar businesses to temporarily shut down. If you're a fan of exotic dancers and eating in your car then Vivid Gentleman's Club is probably your kind of pandemic paradise. The struggling Houston-based strip club now has a drive-thru. Black metal barricades separate the dancers from the cars, and dollar bills litter the asphalt between the white siding of the tent walls. The purplish-blue lighting casts a familiar to club-goers ambience over the scene, but obvious reminders of the pandemic remain; some of the performers are in face masks.
